student ambassadors for the united states – Asheboro

I dont know how to start this but just to say a youth of today needs your help. Im sitting here in Randolph county Asheboro to be exact and Im not a very happy person, I see whats going wrong with our youth. everyone talks about how todays youth is turning out so bad well we have no one but our selves to blame. Nicholas is a young man that was chosen out of his high school East Montgomery high school to participate in a youth program called student ambassadors for the united states, less than 1% of todays youth gets chosen and he was, its a program started with president Dwight D.Eisenhower called at that time people to people . where students are picked to go to foreign countries to show them america's youth and to help with any things that need done such as this year nicholas will get to help with cleaning up the riverbed in englands black forest . he will get to visit the parliment,and so many other p laces.nicholas is a hard worker,he went to mississippi to help with his youth group in church to help with the hurricane katrina clean up.Nicholas is a freshman in high school,he is the chairman of the jr ushers at his church, he is a secretary in his sunday school class,and a memberof his high school golf team,he wants to promote world peace through real life exploration of other countries cultures places and seeing firsthand where others are coming from.he would get to visit england,france,belgium,the neitherlands,germany and switzerland and while meeting leaders,students, and others here is what were running up against. No support not even from his school.we have had fund raisers for nick, such as spaghetti dinners, chicken dinners,raffles golf tournment,but were still only half way and time is running out . we tried leaving tickets at the local sheriffs office 244 staff and local police dept 80 people on staff guess how many showed thier support? sheriffs dept 0 police dept 1 heart felt donation. the spaghetti dinner mostly family, except for 1 man who was helping habitat for humanity who bought 18 plates and 1 lady who said she wanted to help. she was so sweet, she actually cared. now how do we put down todays youth when no one or very few care. if no one cares than all of todays youth would be in more trouble, but do you wonder why so many kids now days are like they are. I know, could you please put this address on your show to maybe help nicholas get the rest of what he needs to go on this journey, he needs still 1,800 to go and time is running out he has until may 31, were half way to his goal but 1,800 and a week and a half left is a short time were having another dinner this sat. and a tag sale, anything your station can do will be greatly appreciated thank you so much for trying to make a difference. make checks payable to the student ambassador program and on the memo line put nicholas payne mail to p.o. box 941 star,nc 27356 thank you
